Introducing the Strong4Life Challenge Program
Hello, [school name],
This year, our school was selected to participate in the Virtual Strong4Life Challenge Program from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This program is designed to help elementary schools in Georgia create positive school environments by promoting healthy habits through interactive visits, resources and support.
Centered on whole-child wellness, the Challenge Program focuses on the four Strong4Life healthy habits:
- Eat smarter, drink water
- Screens away, go play
- Get rest to be your best
- Emotions are real, express how you feel
Our school will receive 1 virtual, schoolwide pep rally in the fall and 5 follow-up visit videos in the spring to educate students, teachers and staff about the importance of practicing healthy habits.
In addition to the virtual events, we will receive posters to display around the school, as well as reusable water bottles for all students, teachers and staff members. All staff have access to the online Challenge hub with resources to use in the classroom, share with parents or display around the school.
We are looking forward to a great year and helping to raise healthy, safe, resilient kids!

Introducing the Virtual Strong4Life Challenge Program from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
Hello, [school name] families,
We are excited to announce that we were selected to receive the Virtual Strong4Life Challenge Program from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! This yearlong program teaches students about the importance of practicing healthy habits to help build strong bodies and minds.
At Children’s, their mission is to make kids better today and healthier tomorrow. Strong4Life is one of the many ways they deliver on that promise by providing programming and resources to schools to help raise healthy, safe, resilient kids. It takes everyone at the schools working together—from the administration to the teachers, school nurses, coaches, counselors and school nutrition staff—to make a positive impact on students.
Led by the energetic Strong4Life Challenge Team, the program kicks off with a virtual, fun and interactive pep rally in the fall and concludes with virtual visits in the spring. These visits cover the four healthy habits focused on nutrition, physical activity and emotional wellness. Our school will receive posters and reusable water bottles for all students, teachers and staff to help us be Strong4Life!
