Strong4Life Challenge Program Hub
Each year, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta selects dozens of metro Atlanta elementary schools to participate in the Strong4Life Challenge Program. A virtual Challenge Program option is also available for Georgia schools outside of metro Atlanta. With the help of the Challenge Team, this program teaches students, teachers, staff and families the importance of practicing healthy habits to help build strong bodies and minds.
As a recipient of this program, we’ve created resources to help you incorporate the Strong4Life healthy habits in your school. This page is your main “hub” for all your Challenge Program resources and communications.

Try these resources in classrooms, specials or school announcements to add more movement to your school day.
Feeding and nutrition resources
Kids can best fuel their bodies and minds by enjoying a variety of healthy foods and choosing water over sugary drinks. Explore these resources to implement healthy feeding and nutrition practices in your school.
Emotional wellness resources
We all need help learning how to identify, express and cope with our feelings. Schools are a great place for kids to talk openly about their feelings, and regularly practice healthy coping skills. Check out these resources to promote emotional wellness in your school.
Parent and caregiver resources
It’s important for kids to practice healthy habits wherever they live, learn and play. Share these resources with parents and caregivers to reinforce healthy habits at home.
Educator and staff resources
School educators and staff face all kinds of challenges, and it can be difficult to prioritize self-care.
