Choking Awareness and Prevention Training
Early care professionals are invited to virtually complete this 1-hour training during one of our pre-selected times.

Who is the Choking Awareness and Prevention training for?
This training is designed for early care educators, food service providers, administrators and other early care professionals in Georgia to follow best practice when it comes to:
- Reducing the risk of choking in infants and toddlers.
- Learning effective strategies for providing age-appropriate foods and implementing safe serving techniques.
- Creating mealtime environments that prioritize the safety and well-being of young children.
What does this training offer?
Upon completion of this training, participants will be eligible to receive 1 Bright from the Start (BFTS) credit hour.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is an approved entity by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
This training has been approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education for early care and education professionals in Georgia, meeting Workforce Knowledge Competency 1.4. Certificates will be provided upon completion of the training and a post-training survey.
