In this training, youth between the ages of 5 and 18 learn how they can keep themselves and others safe online. We will discuss what being a good digital citizen means and how youth can practice social media and digital safety etiquette. Digital literacy is discussed at length to emphasize the importance of being careful with what information or content is shared online. With older youth, we address the risks of sending inappropriate images or videos (in a developmentally appropriate manner) and what to do if someone shares or threatens to share that material.
