Our online training series features monthly webinars on a variety of topics related to child safety and protection, all designed to help keep professionals and caregivers up-to-date on legislation and research developments in child abuse, health and trauma. While certain trainings may cater to a specific field—such as healthcare or social work—all webinars are applicable to a variety of audiences, including parents and other caregivers.

While many of our training opportunities are designed for grown-ups, we also have programs that directly reach youth. From digital safety to trafficking and abuse prevention, our experts are here to help youth of all ages.

The Center for Safe and Healthy Children only sees patients by referral. Referrals may come from primary care physicians, other child advocacy centers, the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) offices, or law enforcement. The center does not accept self-referrals. If you do not have a referral from DFCS or law enforcement, have your community medical provider complete the provider referral form and return it to our office.

The Center also provides child-friendly forensic interview services for local law enforcement that are conducted by licensed clinical social workers. Parent consultations with a therapist and trauma-focused therapy are also available for children seen at the Center. The Center also offers a variety of training opportunities for adults and youth as part of a comprehensive child abuse prevention program.
